Rep. Steve Kuykendall (R-CA) joins the ReFormers Caucus

Issue One welcomes former California Republican Representative Steve Kuykendall to the ReFormers Caucus.

During his time in Congress representing California’s 36th District from 1999 to 2001, Rep. Kuykendall served on the House Armed Services Committee, Science Committee, and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Prior to his career in public service, Rep. Kuykendall served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the Marine Corps, retiring as a Captain in 1973, and then becoming a businessman working in the commercial and mortgage-banking field.  

In addition to running Steven. T. Kuykendall & Associates, his consulting firm, Rep. Kuykendall currently serves as the volunteer president and CEO of Fisher House Southern California, Inc., a charity that raises funds for three Fisher Houses that provide housing to military families.

Issue One is thrilled that Rep. Kuykendall is bringing his energy and leadership to the ReFormers Caucus to help fix our broken political system.
