Anne Snouck-Hurgronje

Chief Development Officer


With more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit and institutional fundraising, Anne is a strategic development professional who works across programs and in collaboration with executive leaders to ensure the sustainability and growth of nonprofits and programs. She has experience assembling a diverse revenue portfolio that includes government, corporate, foundation, and individual sources. Before joining Issue One, Anne served as the director of development at Polaris, a leading anti-human trafficking organization, where she led a team that produced double digit growth year over year. Before Polaris, she served as the associate director of development in the Global Economy and Development program at the Brookings Institution and previous to that, as director of development at the Campaign for America’s Future.

Anne holds a B.A. in history from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Latin American studies from the University of Chicago.
