Danielle joined Issue One in January 2019 as a legislative assistant. Prior to joining Issue One, Danielle worked in the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Federal Election Commission, and many government ethics and money-in-politics reform organizations. She has a B.A. in political science and international relations from Florida International University, an M.P.P. from The George Washington University Trachtenberg School of Public Policy, and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.

The Phase III stimulus bill allocated $400 million to states to bolster their election infrastructures. Although this was an important down payment, states need more funding. We’re continuing to pressure Congress and advocate for more funding in the Phase IV stimulus package so that our elections are safe, secure, and fair this year.
