Elise joined Issue One in 2018 as a Policy and Programs Coordinator to help support our in-district advocacy campaign and other programming initiatives. Before joining Issue One, Elise worked in environmental advocacy and political campaigning in both DC and in her home state of Wisconsin. After moving to DC in 2016, Elise also worked in political consulting supporting messaging experiments and voter participation testing. She is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Legal Studies and Environmental Studies.
