Evan joined Issue One in 2016, first as Digital Communications Coordinator and then Digital & Design Coordinator. Before joining Issue One Evan was the online program associate for Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch. He joined GTW in 2014 as a Legislative Assistant and Scheduler. Before that, he worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative intern, as well as at a Congressional District Office in Illinois where he was the District Director intern. He was also the administration and programs intern at RefugeeOne, a refugee placement organization in Chicago, where he worked on projects with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. He attended Indiana University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish, and studied abroad for an academic year in Madrid, Spain.
